New Orleans - Suspect believed to be dead, says official
The suspect in the New Orleans attack is believed to be dead, a law enforcement official has told our US partner network NBC News.
The police and FBI did not make that clear during the news conference, although they said the perpetrator shot at police officers.
The official said the FBI is investigating the incident as a potential terrorist attack.
