Five people are wounded by shrapnel as a result of rocket impacts in the Haifa area, medics say.
The Magen David Adom ambulance service in an update says it is taking to Rambam Hospital a 16-year-old boy in moderate condition, and four others in their 40s and 50s in light condition, after they were hit by shrapnel.
In addition, a 36-year-old cyclist was lightly hurt in a crash with a car as sirens sounded in the area. He is also being taken to Rambam Hospital, MDA adds.
