Singer Khalid has opened up about his sexuality, sharing that he is gay and emphasizing that he is not ashamed of it.

The 26-year-old took to X (formerly Twitter) to address the topic shortly after a Star Wars actress also came out about her sexuality.

In a brief tweet, Khalid wrote: “🏳️‍🌈!!! There y’all go. Next topic please lol.”

He later added: “I got outed, and the world still continues to turn. Let’s get this straight (lmao) — I am not ashamed of my sexuality! In reality, it ain’t nobody’s business! But I am okay with me. Love y’all.”
