Several injured' after car driven into group of people in Munich
We're starting live coverage of a "major police operation" in the German city of Munich, where officers say a car was driven into a group of people.
"We are on site with strong forces for you," Munich police posted on social media.
Bild newspaper reports 15 have been injured, while the police force said "several" have been hurt.
The Munich Security Conference is due to start tomorrow, with US vice president JD Vance and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arriving later today.
There is a large-scale police operation under way near the central train station, a spokesperson said without giving further details.
Officers are working to verify what has happened.
