Cause of the Fire
Investigations suggest that the use of indoor fireworks triggered the blaze, which rapidly spread throughout the club due to the highly flammable materials used in its construction.

Survivors described chaotic scenes as people rushed to escape through the club's single exit. Many were trampled or suffered severe burns and smoke inhalation. The injured have been taken to hospitals in Kocani, Skopje, and surrounding towns, with some in critical condition.
