The testimony of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his corruption trial will continue today at the Tel Aviv District Court.

The country’s first sitting prime minister to face a criminal trial has arrived at the court in relation to the long-running trial.

The 75-year-old has been indicted in three cases involving presents from millionaire friends and for allegedly seeking regulatory favours for media tycoons in return for favourable news coverage of him.

Netanyahu, who denies any wrongdoing, has pleaded not guilty.
