 Third judge blocks Trump's birthright citizenship order

An update away from the tariffs now - a third federal judge has blocked Donald Trump's executive order ending birthright citizenship for the children of those in the US illegally.


Last week we reported two federal judges in Seattle and Maryland had blocked the order. 


This latest ruling comes from New Hampshire.


The Trump administration argues children of non-citizens are not "subject to the jurisdiction" of the US and therefore are not entitled to citizenship.


At least nine lawsuits have been filed to challenge the executive order.
