UK foreign secretary calls for ceasefire to be 'implemented in full'
A brief statement from David Lammy now.
The UK foreign secretary has just posted on social media site X: "After 491 days of agony, 3 more hostages - including Eli Sharabi who has strong UK links - have finally been released.
"They and their families have suffered an unimaginable ordeal.
"The ceasefire deal must be implemented in full, including the release of the remaining hostages."
Sharabi's wife was born in Bristol and his brother-in-law is still based in the country, where he spoke to us after seeing Eli released from captivity (see our 10.36am post).
