Kylian Mbappe has hit a personal seven-year low after Real Madrid's exit from the Champions League at home to Arsenal.
Real Madrid lost 2-1 to Arsenal at the Santiago Bernabeu, with Bukayo Saka scoring the opening goal and Gabriel Martinelli sealing the win in injury time. Mbappe struggled to make an impact throughout the tie, failing to score or assist in five successive matches across all competitions for the first time since 2018.
He was denied by Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya in the first leg and managed only a few chances in the second leg. Mbappe's poor form led to him being sent off before halftime in Real Madrid's subsequent match against Alaves, meaning he'll miss the clash with Athletic Bilbao this weekend.
Despite this, he'll be available for the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona.
