Carlos Queiroz has been re-appointed head coach of Ghana's Black Stars, just two months after stepping down. The 73-year-old Portuguese left after Ghana's 1-0 World Cup round-of-32 loss to Colombia in July, saying he left with pride. Ghana Football Association confirmed his return on Wednesday for an indeterminate period. Queiroz had taken over in April after Otto Addo's dismissal and led Ghana to the World Cup. He now faces crucial AFCON 2027 qualifiers against Ivory Coast in the September 21 to October 6 window, where Ghana needs positive results to qualify.
