Story: Click the link in the Bio A 19-year-old Canadian woman was found dead on a popular Australian beach, surrounded by a pack of dingoes, on Monday. The woman, identified as Piper James, was discovered on K'gari Island, off the coast of Queensland, after telling friends she was going for a morning swim. Police Inspector Paul Algie reported that two men driving along the beach spotted around 10 dingoes near the body and immediately alerted authorities. The woman's body showed signs of interference by the dingoes, but it's unclear whether she drowned or was attacked. ¹ ² James had been working at a backpackers' hostel on the island for six weeks and was known to be familiar with the ocean and local wildlife.
