UNILAG Law Graduate Dies Day After Convocation

      A University of Lagos (UNILAG) law graduate, Maryam Agoro, has passed away just one day after her convocation ceremony, leaving friends and family in shock and mourning. The news was shared on social media by a user identified as @plantcodesss, who expressed sadness and celebrated the graduate's life. Agoro was part of the 2023 graduating class and attended the 2024/2025 convocation ceremony held on January 20, 2026, at the university's main campus. The ceremony marked the university's 55th convocation, with 16,506 graduates receiving degrees, including 272 with first-class honors. The graduate's sudden death has sparked an outpouring of grief and tributes on social media, with many expressing shock and praying for her soul to rest in peace.
