A women’s rights group is calling for Imane Khelif’s Olympic gold medal to be stripped after a new report claimed Khelif has ‘male characteristics’ and XY chromosomes, and argued that Khelif is ‘biologically male.’
Khelif, who won gold in women's boxing in Paris amid a contentious gender eligibility debate, had been previously barred from the 2023 Women’s World Boxing Championships but was later cleared by the IOC.

The Independent Council on Women’s Sport is now demanding her medal be revoked.
