During a visit to the Gaza Strip, IDF Chief of Staff Zamir emphasized the military's determination to defend itself.
He highlighted the atrocities committed in Nir Oz, where babies, children, women, and the elderly were murdered and kidnapped. Zamir vowed that the IDF would do everything to return the hostages and defeat the Khan Yunis Brigade, just as the Rafah Brigade was defeated. He stressed the importance of remembering the events in Gaza, saying, "We must not forget for a moment what happened here."
