Owens made these claims in her podcast "Becoming Brigitte," where she presented various arguments and speculations about Brigitte Macron's life and identity. However, French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte have denied these allegations, filing a 219-page defamation lawsuit against Owens in Delaware Superior Court. The lawsuit claims Owens' statements were "outlandish, defamatory, and far-fetched fictions" designed to harass and humiliate the couple.¹ ²
