Trump Says The Manhunt For Charlie Kirk’s Assassin Is Basically Over. 


The suspect’s dad reportedly turned him in through a minister linked to law enforcement.

Law-enforcement sources told The Post the suspect is 22-year-old Tyler Robinson of Utah. 

Trump: 

“With a high degree of certainty, we have him… I hope he gets the death penalty.”

Robinson allegedly fired a single, precise shot from 200 yards away, striking Kirk as he spoke at Utah Valley University’s Losee Center. 

Surveillance footage had shown a lone gunman on a nearby rooftop.

Officials are set to brief the public later today - but the president’s already made the call: 

“Somebody close to him turned him in… and I think we have him.”
