Trump Board Meets Hamas In Cairo Amid Gaza Fuel Shortage Crisis

Diplomacy is shifting to Cairo as Gaza runs out of essentials. Envoys from President Trump's "Board of Peace" have met representatives of Hamas in Cairo to safeguard the Gaza ceasefire, under serious strain since the United States and Israel began bombing Iran.

 Talks to advance Trump's plan to end the Gaza war have been on hold since last week when the US and Israel jointly attacked Iran. Meanwhile Gaza is rapidly running out of its limited fuel supply after Israel blocked entry of fuel and goods, citing fighting with Iran. Kushner's talks with Israel and Hamas ended without breakthrough as both sides stand firm on key demands. US officials said Secretary Rubio and Netanyahu spoke by phone about Gaza, Syria and Iran protests. 

Humanitarian agencies warn food staples may become tight within days.
