Russia Just Nearly K***led Boris Johnson and Germany's Top Security Adviser Drone struck Kyiv-Poland train line carrying Yalta conference VIPs. Second drone hit border crossing 800m from Poland.
A Russian drone today nearly struck a train carrying Boris Johnson, Friedrich Merz’s main foreign and security adviser Günter Sautter, Sweden’s former prime minister Carl Bildt and several other European security advisers, diplomats and German MPs who had attended the Yalta European Strategy conference in Kyiv.
The attack took place just 2 km from the Polish border.
Two separate trains were involved on the same Kyiv–Poland rail line in Ukraine’s Volyn region early this morning.
The locomotive that was struck belonged to the regular scheduled service between Warsaw and Kyiv, not the chartered train carrying Johnson which was just in front of it.
The train that was hit carried 200+ passengers and no reported injuries.
A petrol station and trucks were also hit by a second drone near the Yahodyn–Dorohusk border crossing (about 800 metres from the Polish border).
Russia is now attacking border crossings right on the border between Poland and Ukraine as well as between Romania and Ukraine.
It increases the likelihood of Russian drones striking EU and NATO territory, but Russia seems to believe that such strikes are worth the risk.
